On November 30, 2021, AKROS INTERDIDAK received notification from the Valencian Institute of Business Competitiveness (IVACE) approving the project “Development of a new line of educational toys based on the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development with special attention to inclusion and environmental impact,” file number IMINOA/2021/31.
The main objective of the project was to develop a new range of sustainable educational toys to raise awareness about the Sustainable Development Goals of the 2030 Agenda. Transforming the company's product portfolio towards sustainability and aligning it with society's challenges for the coming decades, both in its materials and production processes and in its educational and playful objectives. This project has resulted in a significant improvement in components and materials, which have been made with sustainable wood and cardboard, reduced plastic, and packaging adapted to minimize waste, etc. Look for our FSC® certified products. The FSC® is dedicated to promoting responsible forest management worldwide.
As a final result of this project, eight prototypes of innovative sustainable educational toys have been obtained, focused on some of the 17 challenges of the 2030 Agenda.
A differentiated product line has been created based on the SDG themes.
Actions focused on achieving the SDGs have been implemented in the processes, with a substitution of raw materials from irresponsible sources for more natural ones and with environmental responsibility certification in the same products, and the size of the packaging has been reduced to reduce its environmental impact.
Broadly inclusive toys have been designed.
Who Who are we?
We are a family business with a great team, both human and professional. For 30 years we have been designing and manufacturing educational resources of high educational value.
Our ideas are born from meetings we hold regularly with teaching professionals and specialists: psychologists, pedagogues, speech therapists, and education experts. These are the pillars on which our ideas grow and mature. At the end of the process, we create games and materials that provide solutions and help in the holistic development of individuals.
Our games aim to meet a wide range of needs. From helping our children acquire a certain degree of autonomy and communication, to contributing to the development of creative, responsible, curious, and critical individuals. Our goal is to provide you with tools to facilitate this task. Our greatest enthusiasm is achieving it!
